Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex health needs. You will support clients in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support individuals with complex medical conditions, such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, or ventilator support.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
- Offer emotional and social support, promoting well-being and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care outcomes.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in complex care or healthcare support.
- Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- A caring and patient approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- PMVA trained.
