We are seeking caring, reliable, and proactive individuals to join our team as Community Support Worker in Maidstone. In this rewarding role, you’ll support individuals to live independently in supported accommodation and help them access the community.
You’ll play a key role in helping people achieve their goals, develop life skills, and maintain their well-being in a way that promotes independence, confidence, and a high quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support based on individual needs and preferences
- Assist with daily living activities including cooking, household tasks, and attending appointments
- Support individuals to access and engage with community resources and social opportunities
- Encourage independence, choice, and self-confidence
- Provide emotional and practical support in line with support plans
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding and confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and other professionals as needed
- Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care roles such as dementia care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A caring attitude with a passion for helping others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
- Relevant qualifications in patient care or childcare would be beneficial.

- Home care: 1 year (preferred)
- Domiciliary Care : 1 year (preferred)
