Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of care, including seniors and those with specific health challenges. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in their own homes or within a nursing home setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the mental health of clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalised care plans for each client.
Requirements
- A valid driving licence is essential for this position.
- Access to a vehicle and business insurance is essential
- Availability for some 7am starts, evenings and alternate weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A caring nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs is important.
