Cheltenham Borough Council is seeking to appoint a highly qualified and experienced marketing and communications professional to drive effective and engaging communication across a variety of platforms.
In this role, you will provide leadership and line management to two communications officers and a digital content assistant to support them in the delivery of clear, consistent, and effective messaging across proactive and reactive communications activity.
This includes the creation of strong, visual social media content, management of the press office, and developing and maintaining solid, positive internal and external relations with the press, customers, residents, members, officers and partner organisations.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement communication plans and campaigns that inform, involve, and inspire the community, while upholding the council’s brand and values.
