About the team / role

 

The Committee Services team has a vacancy for a Committee Co-ordinator to clerk meetings of the Mayor of London’s two Development Corporations, the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC), and to provide high level governance and clerking support to other bodies across the GLA, as required.

 

The role includes supporting OPDC planning committee meetings, which meet in the early evenings - approximately 20 meetings a year. In return for this work, you will be entitled to time off during normal working hours.

 

You will need a track record of success in managing formal committee or board meetings; excellent communication and writing skills; and great organisational skills, including the ability to consistently meet deadlines in a pressurised environment.

 

You will be working in the Committee Services team at City Hall which provides a shared service of clerking and governance support across the GLA Group to the Mayor of London, Transport for London, Mayoral Development Corporations and London Assembly. It is a dynamic working environment and a great development opportunity.

GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
