We are currently recruiting for Commercial plumbers and fitters in Herts, Northamptonshire Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex due to contract wins. Some travel may be required to sites in surrounding areas.
Contract can be permanent for the right candidates
We mainly work in Schools, Hospitals, Healthcare and Public Sector Sites, although on occasion we do work outside these.
Work will include installation and replacement but may include Servicing, Maintenance and general Miscellaneous works as required but with a Core based in plant replacement- Boiler Rooms, Pumps and other associated equipment as required.
General knowledge of commercial installations and their associated systems such as Electrical, BMS and Plumbing are essential.
Specific training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, Repair & Installation of commercial heating equipment, Hot and Cold Water Systems, Distribution mains and general plumbing / pipe fitting
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
Pipe fitting and or plumbing qualified, City and Guilds or NVQ.
Must be able to self manage and understand Heating, Hot Water, Chilled water. Steam system experience would also be a bonus.
Full Driver's Licence
Any associated training such as electrical is ben
Package:
Basic Salary based on a 40 hour week, range based on experience and ability
Paid door to door minus 45 mins travelling time each way ( based on no traffic distance)
Overtime paid at time and half in unsociable hours Monday to Saturday and Double time on Sundays and Bank holidays.
