To ensure client freight operational requirements are interpret correctly and services arranged and delivered within service and cost parameters.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
General
· Liaising with UK customers and agents overseas providing pricing solutions
· Providing quotes to UK customers and agents overseas
· Following up quotes with UK customers and overseas agents
· Liaising with the internal teams and providing support where necessary when business is won
· Dealing with airline freight agents and airline pricing teams to obtain current market rates
· Dealing with overseas agents to obtain current market rates
· Updating our internal system with current market rates
· Keeping a KPI for quoted business won/lost
· Liaise regularly with overseas offices, partners, agents and clients.
· Sourcing supplier costs for operations team.
· Update systems with shipment and costing information as required.
· Adhere to all Health & Safety relating to your role, site and colleagues.
· Undertake other responsible tasks that may be required from time to time as directed by the needs of the business and/or your Line Manager.
- Receive and collate customer export paperwork.
- Prepare and provide quotes to customers in accordance with the terms of shipment.
- Communicating directly with clients to ensure they are kept up to date in respect of quotes.
- Ensuring the client is offered positive communication in the event of a shipping problem, being pro-active to provide a solution where possible.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
