Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial environments. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both employees and clients.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
- We are a factory premisis so areas include office, workshop areas and spray booths.
- Maintenance of these areas will include for example changing filters and as well as general cleaning
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and used safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleanliness goals within the specified timeframes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is an advantage.
We would require cleans to be done once a week outside of our working hours - 9am - 5pm but are flexible on when cleans take place, eg. evenings / early mornings or weekends.
