Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to ensure a clean environment.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, and furniture to meet health and safety standards.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment as needed.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques and processes.
