The Role
We're now looking for someone to join us as a Collections Team Leader. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance, developing talent, and delivering good outcomes for our customers. You'll lead a team of 7, comprising of both Credit Controllers and Credit Administrators, providing day-to-day support, coaching, and leadership to ensure targets are met and that the team are compliant with internal policies and procedures.

Your Impact
- Lead with purpose: You'll lead by example and ensure the team are supported, and confident in delivering both good customer outcomes and service.
- Raise the bar: Conduct quality assessments to maintain high standards, ensuring our brand values are consistently reflected in customer interactions.
- Drive improvement: Identify gaps in processes or policies and bring forward your ideas to enhance both efficiency and customer experience.
- Deliver results: Keep arrears to a minimum while ensuring customers in financial difficulty are treated with empathy, fairness, and respect and that forbearance given, is tailored to the customers circumstances.
- Be the go-to person: Manage escalated queries and lead cross-departmental collaboration to resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
- Keep us on track: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting to senior leadership.

Billing Finance is a family-owned vehicle financing Company based on the outskirts of Northampton. We focus on customers with non-standard credit profiles that may not fit the automated underwriting processes of other lenders. - Credit Reference Agencies – to complete a soft credit check to understand your financial history
- CIFAS – to check both National and Internal databases for fraudulent activity.
