Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload goods from lorries and other transport vehicles.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure that all materials handling is performed in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
- Perform quality control checks on products before dispatch.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in handling and order picking.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating warehouse equipment effectively.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes will be beneficial.
- A strong attention to detail is necessary to ensure high-quality standards are met.
