Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Waitress/Waiter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in the daily operations of our coffee shop. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including seating areas and workstations.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.
- Support catering services as required, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Address customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in hospitality or bartending would be beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
