Job Title: CNC Turner Setter/Operator (Mazatrol & Fanuc – Citizen Lathes)

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Company Overview We are a well-established precision engineering company near Walsall, specialising in high-precision machined components for a range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls, particularly on Citizen Lathes. Programming experience is desirable and advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning lathes using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls (Citizen lathe experience preferred)
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining
- Perform in-process and final quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment
- Adjust tooling, speeds/feeds, and offsets to maintain component quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to drive process improvements and productivity
- Make minor program edits; capable of programming from scratch if proficient
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
- Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol and Fanuc control systems
- Experience setting up and operating Citizen Lathes is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Programming experience is advantageous
