Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

The role
As a skilled CNC Programmer you will be primarily responsible for converting 2D CAD drawings to CNC output files and managing panel production to support departments across the business. You will need to be organised, able to prioritise tasks to keep projects on track, and make the most of machine time. You will be a strong communicator, be able to work equally well on your own, as well as within a wider team.
This role will also provide you with the opportunity to develop your project management skills and gain a broader understanding of manufacturing processes in a busy, supportive, environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Converting 2D CAD drawings into CNC output using Alphacam and Woodwop
- Manage and prioritise panel production across departments
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of CNC machines
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings
- Check and verify own work for quality and precision
- Learn and support project coordination tasks as needed
Machines & Software
- 3 x CNC Routers/Machining Centres (3-Axis)
- Alphacam and Homag Woodwop (offline programming)
- Materials include MDF, Solid Grade Laminate, Plastics, and Aluminium
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC programming
- Working knowledge of 2D CAD
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Strong communication and mathematical skills
- Understanding of material properties
- High attention to detail and accuracy
