SUMMARY
To provide high quality close protection driving services to assigned persons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Secure Transportation: Safely transport the principal to and from designated locations while maintaining high situational awareness.
- Protective Driving: Apply advanced defensive and evasive driving techniques to avoid potential threats or hostile situations.
- Route Planning: Conduct detailed route reconnaissance, including identifying alternative routes, safe havens, hospitals, and security risks.
- Advance Work: Participate in or support advance work at destinations to assess and secure environments before the principal arrives.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with the designated project manager and/or close protection team (if applicable), maintaining frequent telephone communication and following established operational protocols.
- Vehicle Readiness: Ensure all vehicles are fully operational, clean, fuelled, and equipped with emergency supplies (medical kit, comms, escape tools, water etc.).
- Threat Monitoring: Remain vigilant for surveillance, hostile surveillance detection, or other potential threats to the principal.
- Discretion & Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality concerning the principles movements, identity, and personal matters.
- Crisis Management: React swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, including security incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies.
- Travel may include domestic and international
- Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as a close protection or executive security driver.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Completion of recognized close protection and tactical driving training (military, law enforcement, or private sector).
- First Aid / Trauma First Responder (TFR) or equivalent certification preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and general computer & technology literacy
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to balance result with other business considerations
- Excellent communication skills
- Calm, composed, and decisive under pressure.
- High level of personal integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Fluency in language of operating country
- Strong knowledge of local and regional routes, traffic patterns, and security risk areas.
- Proficient in communication systems (radio comms, GPS, secure mobile devices).
- Physically fit, with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
- Clean Driving License
- Valid and in date SIA Frontline Licence or international equivalent
- Current DBS certificate or international equivalent

Employee must be able to work in close contact with small and large groups. Frequent hearing and talking is required. Extensive keyboard typing is required.
