Our client is seeking a Clinical Lead to oversee clinical operations within their care home, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach tailored to the needs of the resident population. The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support nursing and care teams, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
- Oversee clinical audits and implement quality improvements.
- Develop and review personalised care plans and manage medication safety.
- Respond to clinical emergencies and coordinate resident admissions and discharges.
- Mentor staff, conduct appraisals, and promote professional development.
- Advocate for residents’ wellbeing, maintaining clear communication with residents and families.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external healthcare professionals, and educational partners.
- Participate in clinical governance and strategic planning meetings.
- Undertake specialist training or join the on-call rota as required.
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical care setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, legislation, and best practices.
- Experience in managing medication administration and audits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop clinical teams.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to person-centred care.
- Willingness to participate in specialist training and on-call duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £48,000.00 per year
