Job Summary
This clinical coder/workflow administration role based in a GP surgery in Worthing. The surgery patient list is approximately 16,000.
The role will be working within the Clinical Coding and Workflow team. This is pivotal role within the practice as it directly impacts on the GPs day to day role and radically reduces their administration workload.
Main Duties
The main duties of the role include processing/filing/coding electronic incoming clinical correspondence using EMIS/Docman software directly into patient records. Completing any actions for the practice detailed in letters or passed onto the most appropriate person/department for completion, whilst using the guidance of the departments Standard Operating Procedure. Knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage but full training will be given.
Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. Please note that you will be screen facing for this position within a small team in a quiet office.

We are a strong friendly, multidisciplinary practice comprising of 6 partners, salaried GPs, paramedics, practice nurses, HCAs, admin and reception teams. Plus an onsite Pharmacy.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
