Every one of our volunteers helps us provide outstanding care and support to the community of North Devon who are impacted by a life limiting illness.
An exciting new role has been launched to support our clinical team in the Bedded Unit
We are looking for people with excellent IT skills and experience with MS Word and Excel to support our clinical team in the Bedded Unit. You must be a confident communicator, with an ability to work as part of a team.
You will be directly supporting the clinical teams and duties will include answering all calls to the bedded unit seven days of the week, in a timely manner, providing a speedy response. You will also be required to undertake other administrative tasks throughout your shift as well as greeting visitors to the Bedded Unit.
Your assistance will allow our nursing teams to continue to provide patient care, knowing that all calls are being answered and held by a volunteer.
There are a variety of shifts available and your commitment to a regular shift is preferred, although we can be flexible.
Hours required for this exciting new role:
Monday 8.30am-12.30pm or 12.15-4.30pm or 4.15pm-8pm
Tuesday 8.30am-12.30pm or 12.15-4.30pm or 4.15pm-8pm
Wednesday 8.30am-12.30pm or 12.15-4.30pm or 4.15pm-8pm
Thursday 8.30am-12.30pm or 12.15-4.30pm or 4.15pm-8pm
Friday 4.00pm- 8pm
Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm or 12.15-4.30pm or 4.15pm-8pm
Sunday 8.30am-12.30pm or 12.15-4.30pm or 4.15pm-8pm
