Overview
We are seeking a friendly, dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in basic software applications, and excellent communication abilities to facilitate smooth administrative processes within the clinical environment.
Duties
- Create a warm and friendly atmosphere for patients.
- Ensure the clinic environment is welcoming and supportive for all patients.
- Ensure that all patient contact is practised within the philosophy of person-centred care.
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients and their family members.
- Inspire clients to a wellness lifestyle through chiropractic.
- Discuss and encourage chiropractic referrals.
- Maintain communication and education with clients regarding the value of our services (in person, on the phone, over email etc).
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organised, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries in a professional manner.
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and managing inventory of supplies.

Qualifications
- Good typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competent computer knowledge and skills especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately.
- Good level of interpersonal and communication skills, with a high standard of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibility.
- Demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm and enjoy working within a team.
- Ability to adhere to patient confidentiality and clinic procedures.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to ensure confidentiality, dignity, privacy and respect for patients always.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to patients, relatives, visitors and other staff at all times.
- Must be confident when dealing with patients.
- Ability to consistently process patients finances correctly.
- Have very high standards relating to the practice appearance and customer service.
