Overview
I am seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join my team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service, as you will be interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our cleaning services.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled cleaning appointments.
Requirements
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver’s licence is desirable for travel between different cleaning sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
