We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are kept tidy, organised, and presentable for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dirt and debris.
- Clean restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
