Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is crucial in providing a clean environment for our campsite visitors.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and re-stocking of the toilet and shower facilities
- Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal areas regularly.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or issues.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any cleanliness concerns.
Skills
- Proven experience in a residential or commercial environment is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Good organisational skills to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests professionally.
This is a flexible contract until the end of the summer. We are looking for a cleaner who can commit to somewhere between 8 - 15 hours per week and can easily commute back and forth to Burton, Christchurch.
