Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Newark Golf Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to company standards.
- Conduct floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
- Manage janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with setup for events or meetings.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning roles
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and standards.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
