Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team, helping to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our three pubs, all located within a short drive of each other. We have some flexibility in how we cover these sites: either one candidate can take on all three pubs, or we can split the role between two people — with one person responsible for our larger pub, and the other covering the two smaller venues. Whether you’re looking for a few hours a week or are interested in the increased hours, we’re happy to discuss the best fit.
This is a weekend position, with flexibility to suit your schedule — cleaning can be done on Saturday and Sunday mornings, or alternatively on Friday and Saturday nights after the pubs close.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. A driving licence and access to transport is beneficial due to the travel between sites. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including restrooms and restaurant/bar areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, wiped down, and sanitised regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any queries or concerns from clients or staff.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites.
