Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our short term serviced accommodation properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors while ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and sanitised.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all laundry is handled according to established protocols.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Full UK driving license and own transport, as travel between properties is required.
- Self Employed Role.
