Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a nursing home setting, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and well-presented. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, communal spaces and residents rooms.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised, including floors, windows, and furniture.
- Deep cleaning of rooms
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with clients.
Days available are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 6 hours per day.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
