Job Description:
We are looking for a part-time cleaner/housekeeper to join our team, working 4 hours per day, weekday mornings, with flexible start times. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of a large private house, Moorswater Lodge, on the edge of Liskeard, Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean all rooms and corridors to the required standard
- Clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and toilets
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Empty waste receptacles
- Wash bed linen, iron, and prepare bedrooms for guests
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 6 months of prior experience in a similar role
- Physically active, as the property is large
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently
- Friendly and approachable, with good people skills
- Comfortable with pets, including dogs and cats
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback on work
- Able to provide references
