We are looking to hire a brilliant cleaner to join our team at The Rhynd. In this position, you will be required to keep various areas of the business spotlessly clean four our guests, customers and members. Areas include the gym, event space, café, farmhouse, offices and upcoming cabins. You will be joining a current team, led by an amazing lady called Caroline, however, much of the work will be on your own.
The interview will be a paid working hour and the role is for 40 hours a week. The applicant must be flexible in their hours to help with cabin changeovers on Sundays.
Cleaner Responsibilities:
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Making beds and stock checking items that come back from the laundry.
• Ironing.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying waste bins.
• Washing and drying windows.
• Liaising with the manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.
• Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
• Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
Cleaner Requirements:
• Secondary education or equivalent is advantageous.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed.
• Able to work as part of a team and on your own.
