Cleaner

Tesco cleaners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling bins. They also clean surfaces, fixtures, and fittings, including kitchen surfaces and fridges, as well as glass doors, panels, and windows. Additionally, they may be involved in waste management, ensuring proper storage of cleaning materials, and following health and safety procedures

Tesco cleaner duties

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Dusting
• Cleaning and sanitizing
• Emptying bins
• Cleaning fixtures and fittings
• Cleaning glass:

• Restrooms
• Kitchen
• Other areas

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleaning supplies: Ensuring adequate supplies are available and properly stored.
• Waste management: Segregating and disposing of waste and recycling.
• Following safety procedures: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicating with colleagues: Reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Potentially assisting with minor maintenance tasks: Such as replacing toilet seats or unclogging sinks.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
