Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various properties across Birmingham, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring travel between locations.
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning environments and schedules.
