Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team on a zero hours contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in residential settings. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The Cleaner will perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively, adhering to health and safety standards.
Duties
- Carry out general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to meet organisational standards.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in serviced accommodation cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to the role.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
