We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at Forbes Place in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises, ensuring a pleasant environment for all residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general cleaning duties in communal areas, corridors, lifts, and reception spaces.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all bins are emptied and waste is disposed of properly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and materials, reporting any issues or stock shortages.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, COSHH regulations, and site-specific instructions.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages found during cleaning duties.
- Work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks during the allocated shift.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm
- Total Hours: 40 hours per week
Skills:
- Proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
- Strong customer service skills to interact courteously with individuals in the workplace.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with team members and supervisors.
- Valid driver's license is a plus for transportation needs.
