About the position
Council is recruiting for full-time City Works Maintenance Assistant. This is your chance to be part of a supportive and dedicated team, working to improve and maintain the infrastructure across the Frankston municipality. The main responsibilities will include:
- Performing civil infrastructure maintenance tasks and repairs across a range of areas along with other duties within the City Works team
- Performing broad tasks involving utilisation of developed skills
- Ensuring the quality and satisfactory output of work and ability to meet work schedules and deadlines; and
- Working in a team environment or works individually under routine supervision.
This is a permanent full time position.
About you
- Current Driver Licence;
- Industry related experience in roads, signage, construction, and drainage maintenance
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance; and
- Eagerness to learn and willing to receive training to advance in the role.

This position is a Band 2 currently remunerated at $65,336.84 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
