Job Description: Your main responsibilities will be to manufacture confectionaries whilst ensuring your work area adheres to factory operating standards and audit requirements. Identify issues within the area and take action as required or by using escalation procedure to ensure timely resolution.
You will also be expected to support projects in the plant to improve H&S, Quality, Delivery & performance.
Qualifications:
No qualifications are necessary as full training will be given, however experience in a food production packing environment would be advantageous.
Hours & remuneration:
The role will commence on 25th August 2025 and initially pay National Minimum Wage, rising as the candidates skills improve.
Working hours will usually consist of 2-10pm shifts however 6am to 2pm or 12 hour shifts may be required occasionally.
Key tasks
(This is not an exhaustive list, the job holder is expected to do all tasks as considered relevant).
· Work as part of the team to deliver against production & packing targets;
· Maintain food safety and safety in the workplace integrity at all times;
· Monitor the production process and carry out basic quality checks;
· Operate basic food processing equipment.;
· Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery;
· Report equipment faults and quality issues to team leader / supervisor.
