We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Factory Operative to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the efficient manufacturing, packing, storage, and movement of goods to ensure we consistently deliver high-quality products to our customers.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in running machinery, packing or in working in food production. If you have a keen eye for detail, a knack for precision, and a love for all things sweet, we want to hear from you!
Roles and Responsibilities
· Operate machinery and handle materials to ensure efficient production and packaging
· Work safely at all times, following Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene procedures
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace using a ‘clean as you go’ approach
· Adhere to company policies and the Quality Management System (QMS)
· Accurately complete all required paperwork and maintain traceability records
· Report equipment faults and process deviations promptly
· Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Meet or exceed production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
· Participate in training and continuous improvement activities
· Support colleagues and carry out additional tasks as directed by team leaders or managers

Requirements
· Completion (or willingness to complete) Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
· Flexibility to work various shifts, if required (usually between 6am & 10pm)
· Ability to complete physical aspects or the job whilst adhering to health and safety requirements, this includes being on your feet for the majority of a shift
· Due to the need to complete training and paperwork, a good understanding of written and spoken English
