We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to children, ensuring their well-being and development. You will work closely with families to implement care plans and foster a nurturing environment that promotes growth and learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Provide direct support and supervision to children in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain clear communication with families regarding the progress and needs of their children.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Document observations and progress in accordance with organisational policies.
- Assist with daily living activities as required, including personal care and meal preparation.
Skills
- Experience with children in a caregiving or educational setting is essential.
- Strong driving skills are preferred for transporting children as needed.
- Background in childcare practices is highly advantageous.
- Ability to create and manage effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, families, and colleagues.
