Threshold DAS Ltd is a Charity dedicated to the elimination of domestic abuse and sexual violence. Project Y is a bespoke programme with the aim of raising awareness in children and young people about the importance of healthy relationships.

These posts are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund until APRIL 2026. Continuation is subject to funding.

Description
As a Child and Family Facilitator, you would assist young people and their families to find ways of communicating with each other and discuss issues constructively. You will also be expected to provide information if required to help individuals make informed decisions. Also supporting families where there is parental abuse and delivery of our Future Proof Programme
The project Y Family Intervention service is designed to allow children and their family members to discuss specific issues in their relationship. This service is usually used when a family have a specific problem with the breakdown of their communication. The sessions are run with children and Young People between the ages of 12 and 25, sessions can include as many family members as necessary. Intervention offers one-to-one sessions for each family member where they can speak openly about their issues.
Working with the whole family. A specialist service developed for children and young people, taking into account their specific needs. Young people taking part in the service are often at a crisis point at home, having been asked to leave or feeling that leaving is their only option.
MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE ACCESS TO A CAR.
AT LEAST TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A MINIMUM OF WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ON A ONE TO ONE BASIS.
