We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to help set up and run our admin and financial processes for grant-making, tracking payments and processing the grant applications; as well as providing admin and secretarial support to our Chair and Board of Trustees, plus help service the sub committees of the Foundation including the Ouse Burn Way project board.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain efficient administrative and financial systems
- Manage day-to-day operations including correspondence, filing and record keeping
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Board of Trustees, including minute-taking, meeting coordination and preparation of board papers
- Ensure compliance with relevant governance and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with applicants, grantees and external stakeholders
- Monitor budgets and process payments
What you’ll need:
- Strong admin & organisational skills, ideally within a charitable or grant-making environment
- Bookkeeping or financial administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
The role:
- Full-time (35 hrs per week)
- Salary £40,000 - £45,000
- 6 months contract with the possibility of permanent role
- WFH/Remote working with in-person attendance at trustee/board committee meetings
