CBT Therapist
Priory Hospital North London is looking to recruit a CBT Therapist to join the team. This is a full-time/37.5 hours role.

What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify clients’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns.
- Develop and deliver individualized CBT treatment plans aimed at addressing specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
- Utilize evidence-based CBT techniques to help clients challenge and reframe negative thoughts and develop healthier coping strategies.
- Monitor client progress throughout therapy, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and professional guidelines.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification in psychology, counselling, or psychotherapy, with specialized training and certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Registration with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Prior experience delivering CBT to individuals or groups, particularly for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build therapeutic rapport, and a solid understanding of evidence-based practices are required. Candidates should be registered or accredited with a recognized professional body and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
