Hop Hospitality Ltd is a family-run business dedicated to providing catering to a number sectors in the the South Yorkshire area. This particular role will focus on high volume set childrens meals & menus, cooked and served to a number of nursery childcare settings in the local area.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to work in our food production kitchen, involved in the entire process of food production, preparation, cooking, portioning and serving our range of childrens nursery meals. The role could also involve delivery of products to customers and selling direct to public. A full UK driving license is prefered but not essential in order to do this job.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Measuring out meal ingredients according to a recipe
- Prepping various ingredients such as meats and vegetables
- Collaborating with the Executice Chef and Cooks to prepare meals
- Cleaning up the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shift
- Maintaining a pantry stock record
- Rotating stock items as per established procedures
- Restocking the pantry and fridge or freezer as necessary
- Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
- Ordering new ingredients as required
