JOB ADVERT: IN-STORE CATERING SALES ASSISTANT
LOCATION: The Bread Box, South Woodham Ferrers
WORKING HOURS:
- Shifts can vary between 08:00 and 16:30, and working days are not set

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Bread Box is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable In-Store Catering Sales Assistant to join our team. This role involves working in our store and engaging with customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting customers with purchases and providing excellent service
- Engaging with customers to help drive sales
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers
- Experience in sales is preferred, along with a drive to sell as much as possible

RELIEF DRIVER DUTIES (As Required, 07:00 – 15:00)
When covering driving shifts, you’ll step into the role of a Mobile Food Truck Sales Assistant, delivering our fresh food directly to customers. Duties include:
- Driving a fully equipped food truck on local routes
- Serving breakfast and lunch items with energy and enthusiasm
- Providing excellent customer service and encouraging repeat business
- Managing stock, cleanliness, and basic daily admin
- Performing daily vehicle checks and handling cash
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- A reliable and punctual team player
- Comfortable working early mornings and stepping into a driving role on short notice
- A confident, safe driver with a full UK licence (minimum 2 years’ experience)
- A people-person who enjoys customer interaction and can work independently
YOU MUST:
- Be over 25 (for vehicle insurance purposes)
- Be confident using a sat nav and driving a van
- Be willing to undergo a DBS check if required
