The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Fleetwood Nautical Campus to cover our evening meal service. This is a key role in delivering a high-quality, value-for-money food and beverage service that supports the wellbeing of our students, staff, and visitors.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the catering unit. Your key duties will include:
- Preparing and serving drinks, snacks, and beverages in line with Starbucks menus and service standards.
- Maintaining high standards of food production, hygiene, and presentation.
- Minimising waste and ensuring accurate documentation of stock and internal monitoring systems.
- Operating equipment safely and adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Handling cash in accordance with college financial procedures.
- Supporting occasional functions or services outside normal working hours.
