You will assist the chefs in preparation and service of food under the supervision of the Head Chef working together as a team
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Preparing, serving and clearing up after the preparation of all meals required for conferences and staff throughout the day.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of all meals required for conferences and staff on duty each day.
- Clean the kitchen areas and machinery, ensuring high standards of food hygiene within the kitchen.
- Wash all kitchen pots and utensils used in the preparation and serving of food within your working area.
- Be aware of all health and safety and hygiene regulations and adhere to them.
- Carry out other tasks/duties as instructed by the duty/head chef.
- Responsible for the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic, washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
- Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
- Disposing of rubbish Working as a team member in a very busy environment
- Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
- General work is split shifts morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.
- Working hours depending on the business needs.
- Able to work flexible work patterns, including Bank Holiday, weekend and evening shifts as required

Pay: £12.21 per hour
