Outline
Reporting to the Gym & Studio Manager (Health Club Manager in their absence) you may be required to fulfil a variety of roles within the facility throughout a working day.
We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and personable Casual Fitness Trainer to support our members in reaching their goals through expert guidance, safe and effective programming, and exceptional customer care.
Ideal candidates will have experience or a strong interest in Hyrox-style training. Whether you’re certified or have competed, your passion for functional fitness will be a valued addition to our team.
Shifts for this role will primarily take place over the weekend. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Hyrox or similar functional fitness formats. Experience competing in these events or holding a relevant coaching certification would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and programme updates, ensuring all exercise routines are safe, effective, and tailored to individual member goals.
- Deliver Personal Training sessions outside of shift hours once departmental KPIs have been achieved.
- Lead group exercise classes, with a preference for those experienced in or passionate about Hyrox-style training.
- Provide ongoing fitness guidance and motivation to members, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness facility at all times.
- Stay current with fitness trends and engage in regular CPD to continually improve professional knowledge and skills.
- Ensure compliance with all Club policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Respond to member enquiries and concerns in a polite, friendly, and helpful manner, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Carry out any reasonable duties as directed by the Health Club Manager, General Manager, Chief Executive, or other senior managers.
- Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies and all legislation related to working with children
