Looking for a Carpenters mate asap. This role is working with myself, a skilled time served carpenter to undertake various tasks that include:
- 1st Fix
- 2nd Fix
- Drylining & Tacking
- Roofing
- Floors
- Timber Frame Kits
- Armco, Fencing & Building Protection
- Cladding of all forms
- Bathrooms
- Kitchens
This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their skills in a wide range of tasks and progress to a carpenter lead. Ideally you will have experience already or in some aspect of practical works.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery
- Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
Non-negotiables:

- Polite to clients and colleagues alike
- Have a driving license / transport to get to site
- Be driven and want to undertake a full days work
Position is either Self Employed or PAYE with pay negotiable based on experience.
