We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Marika (SO51 0LB). Marika is a Residential Home with 7 beds. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, while also requiring you to drive people we support as part of their care and routine.
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- 12-hour day shifts: 8am – 8pm
Requirements:
- A full UK manual driver’s license
- Held your UK license for at least 2 years
- 25 years of age or older (for insurance purposes)
- Confident and comfortable driving both 5-seater and 7-seater vehicles
- Passionate about providing high-quality care and promoting independence
- Friendly, patient, and flexible with strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and day-to-day activities
- Safely transporting service users to appointments, social activities, and outings
- Building positive relationships with those you support
- Maintaining accurate care records
