Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Green Willow Residential Home . In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home setting, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English and have a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Help residents with meal preparation and feeding as required.
- Maintain accurate care plans and documentation of residents' needs and progress using an electronic care planning system.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure high-quality care.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the care home environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently.
- Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care plans and documentation is an advantage.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.
We currently have two positions available:
Night Care Assistant- 24 hours per week including alternate weekends. (1)
Day Care Assistant- 36-48 hours per week including alternate weekends. (2)
Bank/ Zero hour applicants also welcome.

Pay: £12.25-£13.50 per hour
