Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a care home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, regularly updating them as necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as required to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation accurately.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
