Role Overview
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be a vital member of our team, providing support and care to our service users. This role requires a compassionate and attentive individual who can assist with clinical needs, personal care, and daily living tasks under the supervision of our clinical team.
We are unable to offer a Visa Sponsorship for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the care needs of service users in accordance with their care plans.
- Support with clinical requirements such as medication management, moving and handling.
- Provide care and support to individuals with spinal cord injuries, following specific clinical and personal care routines.
- Work collaboratively with family members and the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Monitor and record the health and well-being of service users, reporting any changes.
- Ensure dignity, privacy, and independence are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Experience in a care setting, particularly with complex care needs.
- Experience caring for someone with Spinal Injuries
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate care.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts.
- Enhanced DBS check will be required, we can assist with this.
