We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our compassionate team at Breckside Park Residential Care Home in Liverpool. In this vital role, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing exceptional personal care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and changes in condition.
- Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.
- Support residents in participating in social activities to promote engagement.
- Communicate effectively with team members and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is essential.
- Understanding of care plans and home care practices is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English is necessary; additional languages are a plus.
